SLJ 2020-2021 Kick Start Art

Hi Awesome Readers,

Today I'm going to do a post for Summer Learning Journey. We had to go to the SLJ blog and complete one of the tasks on our blog. For this blog we were doing art we had to go to an Google Art Colouring Book then we had to colour our own copy of the painting and post it on our blog.

Here is the amazing work I've done.

Thank you for reading my blog. Please comment and have a nice day.

  1. Kia Ora Divine,

My name is Shannon, and I’m from the Summer Learning Journey.

You’ve done an incredible job colour matching the painting. It matches the original almost perfectly, but I think yours might even look better because of the little changes you made. I particularly like the red patches you’ve included. I think it adds to the elegance of the ladies in the painting and shows off the jewellery they’re wearing.

Ancient Egyptians were such good painters! They even used pictures to write, communicating in hieroglyphics. They’re a bit like emojis, which is a super cool way to communicate. Can you communicate with pictures rather than words? Perhaps you could make a blog post where you try to describe movies using emojis.

Good job on starting the Summer Learning Journey, I look forward to seeing all your future blog posts! What activities are you most excited for?

    Ka kite anō,
    Shannon (SLJ)

    1. Hi Shannon,

I'm not really sure if i'll be able to use picture for talking instead of words because that will need a lot of plactise and I really mean a lot.

Activities... Um... I'm not really sure yet. But I'll take a look at all of them and see what I think.

      Thank you for Commenting Shannon
