Science Hands On Fire👐 🔥

Hola Amazing Readers

Aim:

I want to SAFELY light my hands of fire.(I really don't this is just for my science class)

Before we do this activity safely we need to be aware of the safety features.

Activity:In Pairs you need to come up with a list of 5 items that need to be considered when doing this.

Instructions

1. Collect your equipment.
2. Put some water into the tray.
3. Squirt some detergent into the water.
4. Put on your safety glasses.
5. Tie up any long hair.
6. Take off any jewellery.
7. Wet your hands, wrist and arms.
8. Bubble the gas into the water.
9. Scoop the bubbles but not the water.
10. Hold the bubbles in front of your face with your arms locked.

So we tried this Science experiment and a lot of people said that it hurt's or that it's very hot. I didn't do it because I was scared that I might burn myself. It looked cool and fun at first but when people said it was hot and burned I just didn't do it. we also took some videos of some people and it smelled like ham to me. Some people were scared when they did it but at the end they thought it was fun.

Today I'm going to be informing you with the work I have been doing in my amazing class! This Week in the Mohua building we have been learning about Music and Types Of Ukulele's. The thing I'm going to be sharing with you is all about different types of Ukulele's. The types of Ukulele's That I can remember are the 4 basic types of Ukulele's are Soprano,Concert, Tenor and Baritone. Some types of Ukulele's look like Guitars but they are not guitars. They are even electric ukulele that look like electric guitars.

In my Hurumanu class We have been learning about Heroes and Heroines in Nga tangata.

Here are my thoughts about Heroes

A hero is A Male Hero.

A hero can Do anything through Christ Jesus.

A hero sees Everything all over the world.

A hero has the power to protect us through Jesus Christ.

A hero needs Love, Joy and Peace.

A hero thinks of helping people in need.

A hero imagines a good and loving life.

A hero does good things for everyone.

A hero wants a good life for everyone and themselves.

A hero leads to a good path in life.

A hero follows the correct rules.

A hero moves with speed.

A hero opposes evil and the devil.

A hero isn’t mean, bad or evil.

A hero helps people in need.

The meaning of Music is vocal or instrumental sounds (or both) combined in such a way as to produce beauty of form, harmony, and expression of emotion.There is multiple types of music like country, city, hip-hop rap and more. It could be music live or listening to it on radio,In the Mall,At home,On a Plane and on YouTube. We hope to learn what music can do and types of secrets hidden in Music including counting the beat! My Intro SLJ

 Hello Awesome Readers

Today I'm going to tell you a little bit about myself, this is not really to do with Summer Learning Journey but I thought why not keep my blog running because it is the holiday and I don't have much to do instead of getting ready for Christmas. Oh yes just remembered something... Happy Holiday, Merry Christmas and a Happy new year. Your probably thinking why say happy new year before the new year...well, sad news to say but during the 1st to the 10th of January I'm sorry to say but I won't be posting blog post's on those days because at my church Forward In Faith we have a tradition that every year from the 1st of January to the 10 of January we have to pray for a good year and the God protects us through everything and we also pray for the world to so that means we pray for everyone in the world to be protected. So that means no devices. But I promise that I'll try post some blog posts after the 10 days of praying a finishes. 

But now let's talk a little bit about me. 

My name is Divine and I'm 10 years old. This year in 2020 I was a year 6 student in Hornby Primary School. I also made a lot of friends there and ended up being a Trusted Trekker with some of my friends Khiel,Eddie,Renz and Zahina. Me and Zahina where the only girl Trusted Trekkers in our class. Yes there were other Trusted Trekkers but a lot that I can't name them all. At the end of the year we had a Year 6 Leavers Assembly where our Parents came. Then on the 15th of December we closed school. Now I'm on my school holiday and I'm going to go to Hornby High School Next Year. I'm also going to be a Year 7 and turn 11 next year too. I can't wait for High School and can't wait to make much more new friends too. For the Holiday I'm going to be participating in Summer Learning Journey For 2020-2021.
